found out George Orwell was a rapist and an abuser after I brought two of his books and it's honestly very conflicting because how do you even seperate the art from the artist? how do I call him a good writer if he was a monster? and how do I read his books without feeling guilty, disgusted and conflicted? I need an answer to this, I'll be pondering for a while.
