Gonna take a break from this for a bit now, but may get back into it later this weekend… I think 3 hours or so this morning is enough for now. 🍻
Here’s my second email to Candy Digital this morning:
Hi again,
Here are the next 15… gonna take a break for a bit, but I may have more as the weekend goes on. Thank you for your time!
“Mikel Janin - Absolute Power” doesn’t seem to be loading the video properly for me.
I like that there is now an Attribute for Modern vs. Legacy… but can we come up with a better name than RarityDriver? 😀 Maybe “Class”? Or “Era”?
I think we should come up with a name for the Rarity tier of items that don’t have a typical one (Common, Uncommon, Rare, Epic, Legendary) besides “Unspecified”… but maybe that’s just me. It just feels like a weird lumped in thing. Or maybe something for the comics that fall into that category at least? So that they’re not mixed in with the Bat Cowls?
Which reminds me, it should be easier somehow to separate the 3D/metaverse type items from the comics… usually when I’m shopping for comics, that’s what I want… usually when I’m searching for Cowls, that’s what I want. I guess, basically, I think it should be easier to filter in and out things somehow.
I would like to be able to sort my collection by multiple criteria… for example “Title” then “Rarity” then “Edition”
There are some titles that have a “Cover Artist” attribute and also a “Cover_Artist” attribute. The Flash: The Fastest Man Alive (2022) #1 being one example but there are more…
For longer titles (on mobile for sure at least), sometimes the “Full Page” button is cutoff or barely there when you first click on an asset.
I think you should be able to click on an attribute and that would take you to a page of all the DC3s filtered by that attribute (or at least the first page of that group). For example, click “Modern” in one assets attributes section to take you to ALL of the Moderns.
Since collectors can now burn anything, it would be nice to be able to see the “Total editions still left” (or something like that) of every title displayed on the page somewhere.
Maybe something on each asset page that says how many unopened packs are left for that particular title or something like that?
The Cover Artist attribute usually lists Penciller first, whereas Batman (2016-) #161 (Core) lists the colorist first and the penciller last.
The Poison Ivy Legacy Cowl doesn’t have an “Edition” attribute
The video for Justice League vs. Suicide Squad (2016-2017) #6 (Legendary) doesn’t load for me.
Same for Batman (1940-2011) #609 (Legendary)… I think it would be worth double checking all the assets with video attached to them to make sure they are working across platforms.
Which gives me an idea… maybe an Attribute that shows Motion (Yes/No) or something like that so collectors can easily see which covers have motion or not… I feel like that could be a future collector passion type thing
