I’ve been in media for three decades and in no press conference or other collection of journalists I’ve ever been part of have I noticed a preponderance of conservative outlets. Yes, there are some very right-wing stations and some have big audiences, but to say the media is “saturated” by the “radical right wing” is delusional. The Washington Post did a story a while ago putting the percentage of Republicans in journalism at 7%, which feels about right, and notes it used to be higher, which also feels correct.

I understand that people don’t like stations like Fox or OAN. I don’t understand claiming media is saturated with right-wingers. It’s just not accurate
