Congratulations on the publication of your new book. And thank you as well for mentioning Japan A to Z in your recent post — I truly appreciated it.

Even from my perspective as a Japanese reader, Gianni’s writing offers a distinctive angle and often brings into focus things I hadn’t quite articulated myself.

Since starting Japan A to Z, I’ve consciously kept my writing at a certain distance from my inner life. Lately, though, that resistance has been softening, and I find myself allowing more of those thoughts to surface.

I hope that, by opening that door a little wider, my conversations with readers can deepen.
