Make money doing the work you believe in

This is good advice. I have a small kitchen garden just outside the kitchen door and a large one that is farther away. In the small garden, I try to grow what I need on the spur of the moment - herbs, green onions, leeks, celery, cherry tomatoes, greens. Lots of greens.

Distance is the most overlooked garden design flaw.

Not sunlight. Not soil. Not water.

If food is too far away when we’re tired, busy, and hungry… we often don’t eat it.
