Hello, my friends, do you want to know why boxing is the best sport? Well, I am going to tell you anyway.

THE TOPIC

The topic will be me telling you why boxing is the best sport.

THREE MAIN DETAILS

My four main details will be the rules of boxing, history of boxing, role models, and social issues.

FACT UNO

First, I'm going to tell you about the rules of boxing. (not main detail).  in boxing there are 12 rounds in a bout which are usually 3 minutes long. (I Found these facts from sportopedia). Boxing is also fought one on one which makes it better than other sports than like soccer because in soccer its a team sport and if you have a player on your team that is very good than you can rely on them to help your team win but in boxing you show how good you are and not anyone else.  Boxers can hit each other anywhere except below the waist, kidneys, and the back of the head. This makes it better because you are legally allowed to beat people up and show your strength without getting in trouble. Bouts are scored are scored by a ten-point system. Whoever has the most points wins. Fights can also be won by knockout if an opponent can't get up. Before a bout boxers put on a type of gloves.

FACT DOS 

Second, I'm going to tell you about important events in boxing history. An important event in boxing history was when jack Johnson beat the champion Jim Jeffries in reno Nevada (i got this from black jack). Another important event was when Floyd Mayweather beat Manny Pacquaio on May 3rd, 2015, because people called it the fight of the century.

FACT TRES

Third of all, i GOT TO tell you guys about the 3 most influential people in boxing. The 3 most influential people in boxing history are Muhamad ali, jack Johnson, and mike Tyson. Ali because he was a great fighter, and he fought for justice for people of color (i got this from Mohhamad ali show me history.) And jack Johnson beat the champ Jim Jeffries and became the world's first black heavyweight champion. (I got that from black jack). 

FACT CUATRO

Finally, i will tell you about social issues in boxing. Back in the old days people were racist to people of color which made a lot of them angry and want to fight. For example, Muhamad Ali (who is the greatest boxer of all time in my opinion) fought cuz of discrimination and became a great fighter. (i got this from Muhamad ali show me history). This makes boxing better because it shows people of color can be great too. This shows that in boxing that if something in the real world is bad it can make you great in boxing.
