VOLUME ON Where I live on Vancouver Island, thunderstorms are extremely rare. And when they happen, we don’t get forked lightning. We get something called sheet lightning, which goes horizontal.

So did I stand out on my deck with my camera for the past 45 minutes trying to catch at least one of them – yes I did! And here’s a cute little video of it. No biggie for you but for me biggest thrill I’ve had in months!
