I don’t post much about my son because he is more private than I am. I also feel very protective of his experience.

I’m so proud of this incredible young man who came through me.

Now it’s time to navigate being an empty nest mother of a young Black male who’s finishing up his first year of college.

I am in awe. I’m also gonna be real, I love my space, lol. If you have a child that’s left the nest and then returned home, you just know what I’m talking about, lol.
