Poetry suggestions wanted.
My first-year college students are playing Adopt-a-Poem. They’ll memorize 8-14 lines, recite, and write about the experience of carrying the poem around in their blood.
Suggestions? What poem are you glad to carry around in your blood? Metrical, meaningful poems have an edge.
