When I pulled this song, I heard the opening to the song “Wake Up Everybody”.

As the year winds down and we prepare to enter 2025, this is a wake-up call. Time waits for no one and tomorrow is not promised, so get your butt in gear and make moves.

A lot of us have been sleepwalking for a long time, staying in reaction mode as we waited: for inflation to come down, till we saved enough money, for election results, for better timing, for someday.

My aunt called me today to tell me about the upgraded renovations to her house. She said that people questioned why she was doing it if there was nothing wrong with the house (such as items needing repairing). She replied that she wanted her house to reflect who she was now and how she wanted to spend her time when she retires next year. As a cancer survivor, she knows better than most that you have to live while you can.

Figure out what you have always wanted to do but have been putting off, and make moves to make it happen.
