Most recently, I have spent much of the past year writing a book about the dynamic tension between term-limited (by mortality) humans in a world obsessed with eternal life, exponential growth and more of everything (at least for some of us), all enabled by the scale and speed of AI. What does that mean for us? Or rather, how can we collectively determine (not predict) what these dynamic tensions will produce, rather than leave things in the hands of the small group of people who determine so much for us right now?
