I’m going to say something that shouldn’t be controversial but will be. If you are a Christian, you can support border control and immigration being legal vs illegal. You CANNOT celebrate deportations and get off on the cruelty, and be a real Christ follower. Period

Remember, Trump is calculating with a manipulative shrewdness. He did the pope pic to turn the media attention away from all the bad polls around his 100 day failure. He wants to turn us away from the terrible things in his budget. Trump’s position & Vance’s policies are diametrically opposed to Catholic social teaching, to Scripture, & to Jesus.
To media: don’t spend time on the pic. Religious leaders: don’t let interviews be about the pic. Pivot back to how his budget wil be deadly, destructiv…
sometimes i wonder how many versions of myself i’ve outgrown without even noticing. i look back at old photos and remember the thoughts i used to carry, the dreams i thought would save me. it’s strange how you can live inside yourself every day and still not realize you’re evolving. it’s only when you look back that you realize how far you’ve come, how many lives you’ve already lived in the same skin.

Why Isn't Biden Winning By 20 Points?
Because the GOP is better at slander than just about anybody in world history. Watching them at work is like seeing a gold medal performance at the Criminal Olympics.
This is 100% true, the GOP *is* way better at selling narratives alongside character assassination campaigns against opposition candidates well in advance of election cycles--see HRC's tar and feathering over Benghazi, Obama's birtherism campaign, and Biden's current investigation cycle in the house--I really don't think that's why Biden isn't ahead in the polls by a lot. I think it has a lot more to do with 1) polls not showing solidified opinions this far out of an election, and 2) as the country gets more and more evenly divided and the elections come down to a handful of districts in 4-6 swing states, polls become less useful as predictive models.
