I’m going to say something that shouldn’t be controversial but will be. If you are a Christian, you can support border control and immigration being legal vs illegal. You CANNOT celebrate deportations and get off on the cruelty, and be a real Christ follower. Period
It’s about damn time. AOC is a hero. She’s one of the best out there, fighting daily against Trump’s fascist bullshit.

A man who holds the title of President of the United States, who took an oath to protect and defend the Constitution, who then says he doesn’t know if he’d uphold the Constitution, is unfit to be president and should be removed.

1. I wonder how "Featured talks of the week" is collected. It would be greate if you add small comment about the standard on the list.
2. Because "New talks" list is so long, my gmail client just cut it out ("[Message clipped] View entire message"). I think it's inevitable. I just want you know about it.
1. I go through the entire list and aim to pick those talks that stand out by looking for interesting/unusual/popular topic, new ideas, large # views in a relatively short timeframe, being presented by community leaders. This is just to name a few. At the same time, I strive for covering all areas of software engineering. Building the featured talks list is the hardest and most time-consuming part as there are usually too many talks that I'd love to feature.
2. Yes, I'm aware of this issue. It's not ideal and I reported it to Substack some time ago. It'd be helpful if they provided a link to the full post right before it gets truncated. I think it'd be great for the reader and beneficial for Substack, too. The only way to overcome this limitation for now is to open the post in Substack by clicking the title.
