Android users: here’s the version you need.
If someone steals your Android phone and knows your PIN, they can do serious damage fast.
Check these settings:
1. Find My Device Go to: Google Settings → Security → Find My Device → make sure it’s enabled
2. Theft Protection Go to: Settings → Security & Privacy → More Security Settings → Theft Protection Turn on:
Theft Detection Lock
Offline Device Lock
Remote Lock
3. Lock Screen Privacy Go to: Settings → Lock Screen / Notifications Turn off or restrict:
Sensitive lock screen notifications
Lock screen controls, widgets, or shortcuts if your device allows them
4. Google Account Security Go to: Google Account → Security Turn on:
2-Step Verification
Passkeys, if available Also remove any devices you don’t recognize
5. Emergency Info + SOS Go to: Settings → Safety & Emergency Set up:
