Social networks today - everyone is a 25-year-old senior software architect
We have people with 0-1 year of experience who write about software engineering, architecture, and more.
Most of these stuff they have yet to see or work with them.
I started writing with 20 years of experience in roles from software engineer to architect and consultant, 30+ projects, and a Ph.D. in Computer Sciences. Still, I was unsure if I could give enough value to readers with my writing.
When you start to follow someone, check first his credibility outside LinkedIn and other social networks. Check if this person has the credibility to talk about this.
I know this because many people copied my work or style and topics. The latter is harder to catch, but it is wrong. If someone doesn't talk from his own experience, this is not the right address to follow.
Social networks are not real life! It is an abstraction of it. Sometimes, very delusive one.
