I have cherished memories from my childhood of going with my parents to see widescreen films at the Cinerama Dome theater in Hollywood. We even attended the opening run of the first film there (“It’s a Mad Mad Mad Mad World”) when I was just five years old. It was the IMAX of its time.

I’m happy to report that this iconic theater with its futuristic design is coming back in 2028. Now if they would only reopen Wallach’s Music City, the definitive Hollywood music store—which was located across the street in those days.
