AI tech bros get angry at me when I say it, but they’ve lost the battle for public support. It’s over—they just haven’t figured it out yet, because they’re still in denial.
Even their former allies are now abandoning them. Just today LinkedIn (owned by Microsoft!) threw in the towel, and now the major labels—who have looked at every possible way of making a buck off AI—are backing down.
It’s now has been decided, and the AI companies have only themselves to blame. If they hadn’t dumped an ocean of slop on the public, we might’ve given them more time. But they polluted the culture and forced us to take protective measures. I won’t miss them—not one bit.
