I can’t emphasize too strongly how important it is to find the right platforms for your vocation

Here’s my year-end analysis of the two platforms I’ve relied on in recent years. One has stagnated and is now declining—because of manipulative algorithms and bad decisions. The other is flourishing.

If you work in the creative economy seek out platforms and people who support the community—instead of manipulating people. There’s only so much you can do in a dying ecosystem.
