But why bother trying to improve anything? Why aim for improving the process and the way things work? Movies are still getting made, even more than before. People keep clicking on them, don’t they? Everyone’s who is anyone is making money, right?Lots of folks still have jobs. Shut up and cash the checks. Who cares if we are undermining the very foundation of our industry, art form, and culture? There’s always another genius in the wings. We don’t really need to give much support to the writers and developers, do we? Hasn’t it always been a sink or swim thing around here? A meritocracy? NO.
