There, I said it.
But… they are part of the process. And in a collaborative industry, we’re not escaping them any time soon.
The difference is usually how they’re delivered.
If it’s structured, clear, and tied to timecode, then brilliant. Frame io, a tidy Google Doc, anything where I can go straight to the problem without playing detective.
If it’s scattered across emails, messages and half remembered conversations… less brilliant.
I’m very much in the camp of “make it frictionless and everyone’s life improves”.
More efficiency, less faffing.
