I'm not anti-remake, but some retold stories feel like a waste of a talented filmmaker.

Pinocchio is one, but Del Toro's version was excellent. I feel even more strongly about Frankenstein remakes. Why is he doing this to us?

Dracula remakes I'm softer on but still find their announcement a disappointment.

King Arthur and Robin Hood remakes may elicit a stronger reasons than Frankenstein.

Anyone else have specific stories they feel this way about?
