Opus Claude 4.7 is coming out as soon as this week per The Information.

"Anthropic is preparing its next flagship model, Claude Opus 4.7, along with a new AI-powered tool for designing websites and presentations, according to a person with knowledge of the products. Those new products could be released as soon as this week, the person said."

Anthropic's most powerful model is Mythos but Opus 4.7 will surely be an improvement over Opus 4.6. The pace of new launches is so crazy that it's pretty clear at this point that both OpenAI and Anthropic are deep into RSI (recursive self-improvement) territory.

The new models are made (to an unknown degree) by the old models.
