What last years government Cyber Security Statistics show is that 1 in 6 businesses will likely have a successful cyber attack in 2026, which causes some sort of breach, loss of data, or a loss of money.
In my mind that's a huge number and is far too big.
Put 100 business owners in a room, and tell them that 16 of them will be a victim of a cyber attack with consequences, this year, and they would not believe you.
But it's true, 16 of their businesses will be victims. And that's far too many.
As small business owners we all need to take cyber security more seriously.
