Age 10-13: no specific job, but when I was 10 I read that Canadian prime minister Lester B. Pearson did grad school at Oxford, and I resolved to do grad school too when I was all grown up! (I was nerdy even as a child)
Age 13-15: some kind of public policy or humanitarian worker (I was super into documentaries then, still am tbh)
Age 15-22: journalist
Age 23-28: politics or history professor
Since 29: no idea. I’m not sure what I’m going to do after my PhD is done. I guess that’s the next big adventure! Some kind of writer or editor, perhaps?
Reading this list back, I realize that I accomplished being both a journalist and a grad student. Little me would be very proud!
