Finished listening to the podcast. Towards the end it turns to monetisation, and why Celine doesn’t have a paywall. I’ve paused my own indefinitely and don’t know if it will come back. I suppose it comes down to knowing why you’re doing it. The pressure from paying subscribers doesn’t feel entirely proportionate with the actual income, in that case it makes more sense to work a few extra hours at my actual job instead. At the same time, it’s very encouraging that people want to pay for my writing. Well, it cuts both ways. Perhaps my no strategy strategy would, after all, benefit from an actual strategy here.
