i’ve had a podcast for 9 years, it’s received 45+ million downloads and counting, i’ve interviewed some of the most accomplished humans out there & here are a few things i’ve noticed about truly successful people:
• the ones at the very top show up solo. they come in with no team, no checklist, no ego. they happily share the episode with their audience when it airs because they understand reciprocity. they treat you like they actually want to be there, not like a stepping stone. they usually give out their personal cell number to stay in touch.
• meanwhile, people who are far less accomplished or almost there often come in with a huge entourage, large egos, and the energy of someone who has better places to be. they rarely share the episode after it comes out (so strange) and are unreachable before and after—they only speak through their team
moral of the story: your energy speaks louder than anything you say on a mic. success isn’t a number; it’s an energy. the people who carry that quiet confidence, generosity, and gratitude… there’s a reason why they keep on rising 🙏🏼
