And it’s of Pixel – “the cat who walks through walls” – my cherished companion and dæmon: who has helped me stay sane throughout a somewhat challenging year. Here she is in November, deftly perched on a small pile of books (on infrared photography, of all things); her head turned to witness the antics of the feeding birds.
