There is one image that represents morning to me more than most, Aminus3 Photography, and it is this: taken at 05:36 on 17 June 2017, just as I returned home from my usual five-mile pre-breakfast walk, taken (every few days) to try and beat the sunrise (at 04:44, that day).

Normally, I would get to the highest point of the walk just as/after the sun crept over the horizon; but I must have left earlier than usual, that day – or had the wind at my back… – and scored my only easy win! That there was mist in the valley was a bonus; and I remember standing there for quite some time….
