The Mean Girls at Summer Camp.

That’s the story that popped out of muscle memory when I asked:

“When did I feel WRONG for my intuition being RIGHT?

I was 9 years old.

I knew next to nothing about my intuition, but I did get the mean girl memo that my intuition would get me into trouble, separate me from the group, and slick me in shame.

All I did was tell the truth that no one else could see…yet.

9-year-old me took that memo to heart and memorized its impact.

I’m reclaiming that day, deleting the mean girl memo, and rewiring my sharp intuition as my magnificent girl skill.

This is part of the BeHER Journey, the program I am facilitating with a cohort of diverse and fabulous women. This is the work of step 2, reclaiming our intuition from all the messages and moments it was stolen.

Any mean girls in your muscle memory?

In my muscles, I found the meanies, the nuns, the scared adults, the systems that told me to play small, and the movies that told stories of magical women being villains or victims.

Stretch the muscles to shake out the old memories so you can flex your intuitive muscles again.

Reclaim, Rewire, Rewrite.
