Love this— the question and the answer are right there. Men need to be fighting against capitalism and patriarchy because those system fail them too. Instead, many men uphold these systems because of the mythology that they will benefit from them like their white, wealthy counterparts. The system is rigged. We need more male nurses, school administrators and educators. We need egalitarian relationships and soft spaces for men to land. The entire internet is telling them feminism is keeping them from their best life, when in reality capitalist patriarchy has a boot on their neck because it’s limiting their vision and telling them there’s only one narrow way to show up in the world.
