When are we gonna actually admit that it is, in fact, all men? Whether it’s by association, complicity, validation, wilful ignorance or disinterest. Every last one.

There is no reward for being a better human that patriarchy can’t outdo. The work is hard and thankless, save for not being a monster and trying to make the world better for others. Some men are doing the work from inside the machine - but they are still part of it. It’s not their fault, but let’s not pretend there’s some magical exit door. The work lasts a lifetime, and the privilege remains regardless.

Do better - even when there’s no participation trophy or a cookie at the end of it. Do it knowing you are the villain of this story - and make this your redemption arc.
