Not the biggest issue here but the fact that Intel can’t support the entirety of its own Instruction Set (AVX512) on Panther Lake is a symptom of the dysfunction in its strategy.

I bought an Ice Lake laptop in 2019 because it had AVX512. It ran (still runs in fact) hot and has the battery life of a melting ice cream but it did the job.
