As we’re set to publish our thesis on Heico at the end of the month, we’d like you to answer the following poll.
Over the past few months, we’ve received questions from our subscribers on covering more serial acquirers (say a group of 10-15 names), and preferably through a separate Substack as you cannot please every subscriber. We understand some of our subscribers aren’t interested in consumer companies or industrials but are intrigued solely by acquisition machines, and vice versa. That’s perfectly fine but it highlights that broader coverage misses out on opportunities.
We’d appreciate your thoughts on a pure play serial acquirer Substack newsletter with in-depth reports, earnings recaps, management interviews (including subsidiaries - to get a sense of the acquisition process and interaction), M&A tracker, discussion of valuation and accounting nuances. There wouldn’t be a shared (model) portfolio, which one could view as a positive - less biased opinions, just coverage including a plausible forward total shareholder return CAGR range.
