There are a few new brands that do female mountaineering equipment, but none of them are really that cool, I think, from a style perspective. I’m not fashionista No. 1 but I do struggle sometimes with technical mountain equipment for women, also for climbing because somehow it’s always purple or turquoise and colors you don’t want — in theory, you need really bright colors like red, yellow, orange or pink — so you’re seen in the mountains.
