Consider the millions of illegal immigrants within the United States. Most people would have no problem deporting violent criminals. But how can we consider ourselves a just society when we are sending unidentified and masked men after people who have lived here for decades peacefully? Who are showing up to the court hearings which we set for them? Who once here, abide by our laws, work hard, and actively want to join our shining light upon a hill?
