Hello, Substack! I'm Stephanie — writer, artist, mother, and a woman who refuses to be written into one story.

I started here as a memoirist, writing Sunday Letters to share my midlife awakening — and somehow the writing took on a life of its own. It led me inward, into the depths of Jungian mythology, gothic fairytale themes, into hidden parts of myself, into stories I didn't know I would write.

Now I'm deep in writing my first screenplay and completely lost in it (in the best way). It’s a gothic romantasy!
