One Month
Today marks one month since I started publishing on Substack. I want to take a moment to say something I don’t say enough.
Thank you.
Thank you to everyone who has read these articles. Thank you to everyone who subscribed, shared, restacked, liked, or left a comment. I appreciate your support more than any of you will ever know. And thank you for taking a chance on an anonymous Substack with no real name attached to it — that still means something to me every single time I see a new subscriber.
I write anonymously because I have to. If I published under my real name, I would probably lose my job — the people I work for would not appreciate these kinds of articles. Until I’m in a position to do this full time, I have to keep my dog fed somehow.
I started this because every night before I went to sleep, I would spend two hours reading — articles, books, court filings, investigative reports, news from sources most people never see. One night a friend said: “Why don’t you try writing?” Probably so I’d stop bothering him with my ramblings. So I did. And now I’m here.
Knowing that thousands of people have read what I’ve written — and that some of them took the time to subscribe, share, or even just hit the like button — is something I never expected and still don’t take for granted.
This entire month has been building toward my largest piece. It released today — accidentally. I set the date wrong and it went live this morning instead of tomorrow. But it’s out, so read it!
To those who have already read it — thank you.
To those who will read it tonight, tomorrow, this week — thank you.
If it means something to you, please spread it around. Share it with someone. Restack it. This one needs to travel.
Share your thoughts below. Am I crazy? A conspiracy theorist? Or just a guy who can read — and read into something very interesting?
