Reader Response: DMX 1, “Turndown Service”- From Capt Nathaniel Lambert

Note: This is a response to DMX 1, we apologize for being a bit delayed in posting!

Squad, we will not engage unless compromised. 2nd and 3rd FT, occupy a SBF pos that covers the known enemy positions IOT suppress the enemy.

1st FT, you are the main effort, hold in place but be prepared to destroy en under tarp and en on your left flank. If we are comprised, 2nd and 3rd FTs will attack by fire IOT support the main effort and 1st FT will destroy the en until we lose fire superiority IOT disrupt en defensive preparations.

Upon losing fire superiority, 1st Fireteam will withdraw while 2nd and 3rd FT continues to attack by fire IOT prevent enemy from pursuing us.

Once we have broken contact, we will regroup the squad on the S side of the creek directly S of hill 92.

To Higher: We have located en def 50m NW of hill 92 and are currently observing within their perimeter, most en are asleep. Send reinforcements to attack E to W to the N of Hill 92 and we will SBF from the SE. We will not attack ourselves unless compromised. Prep mortars for immediate suppression 50m W of hill 92 to cover our withdraw.
