You need to believe you are better than most people.

Not because you’re superior to them, but because what most people create isn’t that good.

If you don’t believe that you can create something at least slightly better than what is already out there – the product, the app, the writing, the designs, the photos – then you are lying to yourself, and you will rarely produce great work.
