Ben Rice has been killing it a few weeks in:

.356/.500/.756 with 4 homers. He ranks in at least the 98th percentile in xwOBA, xSLG, exit velo., barrel %, hard-hit %. Oh and he’s walking a quarter of his PA.

Despite the breakout year, he remains a top candidate to progress in my model and I think he’ll have the chance to really prove his abilities this year and become a cornerstone of their infield. I could see a 30+ home run season from Ben Rice in 2026.
