This morning, as I sip my orange-naartjie-pineapple-mango-ginger-mint-creatine-monohydrate smoothie, my heart feels full, comfortable and open.

I appreciate the little connections I’m making here so damn much! Some have become real friends, and we share long phone calls, some connect intermittently during Dope Support, others in DMs or maybe even just comments and notes.

There are one or two people with whom I can’t seem to find common ground, we don’t see eye to eye on anything, and we don’t hesitate to comment and debate respectfully—perhaps that’s what we have in common! We enjoy being challenged because it’s an opportunity for growth!

And then some authors might not even know I exist, but their work reminds me how deep the rabbit hole goes, how diverse our experiences, emotions and views are. Their writing inspires me to keep going, to keep doing what I do, and not to lose faith in humanity. Gawd, I love humans!
