This weekend, my work reached more people than it ever has. A video crossed a million views. My YouTube hit 100,000 subscribers. The policy brief I put together this weekend has started moving through the right hands.
Also this weekend, The United States and Israel bombed Iran.
I’ve been sitting with both of those things and I’m not going to collapse the distance between them into something tidy. The whole argument of my work right now is that we need to be able to hold more than one thing in our attention at the same time — recognizing that the noise is sometimes the point.
So I’m going to say plainly: I’m proud of what we built, and I’m unsettled by the world it was built in. I think both of those things are allowed to be true at once.
