An Easter thought.

It’s funny:

Jesus and Mohammed were born less than 1000 miles apart, probably looked very similar in appearance, preached largely the same gospel, were both mystics who went on long meditative quests, seeking the divine, and spent their lives serving the oppressed, the outcasts, the sick, and the poor —

And yet, by Christians, when is revered and one reviled.

One made mythic, and one cast as serving a demonic diety.

One slandered as a false prophet and one glorified as the Son of God.

Putting a chasm between the two holy men so wide that they are willing to go to WAR over it.

It really is MADNESS.
