I was tagged by both PVT's Working Class Experience and Roxi's Horror House for an influential work that has influenced my writing. I’ll go with Issac Asimov’s Science Fiction magazine. I subscribed to that magazine and Amazing Science Fiction when I was a teenager and man was that ever a big thrill when they arrived in the mail! Those magazines were the cutting edge of Science Fiction way back in the 1970’s.

I even sent in a couple of stories of my own and they came back covered with so much red ink I thought somebody bled out all over them. So nice to be on Substack where nobody feels compelled to correct all my grammatical mistakes. I hope I didn’t just give anybody ideas.
