I took the leap to join a writing group in early 2021 after not believing zoom get togethers were worth it. It turned out the group jumpstarted my writing and I quickly joined Medium. The group leader, Leigh, suggested Substack as a place to host my work.

Substack felt right. It was a place to hang my shingle and showcase whatever work moved me.
