📢 Calling all aspiring food and drinks writers! Entries are open for the Guild of Food Writers Newcomer Award 2026. This is your opportunity to turn your passion for food or drinks writing into a professional career.

The award is open to aspiring food and drinks writers who have never been paid for food or drinks writing, including sponsored social media content. (Paid writing in other fields is acceptable.) The prize is a coveted Guild mentorship and a year’s honorary membership.

Deadline for entries is 2nd February. You can submit a piece of writing that has been published previously, so long as it was unpaid.
