Look around you and identify":
5 things you can see: Look around and name five distinct objects.
4 things you can feel: Notice four things you can feel (e.g., your feet on the floor, the texture of your clothes, the air on your skin).
3 things you can hear: Listen for three sounds (e.g., birds chirping, traffic, your own breathing).
2 things you can smell: Identify two distinct smells.
1 thing you can taste: Notice the taste in your mouth, or if you have a drink, focus on its flavor.
You will be back to the present reality.
