So happy to read this! We were at the same reserve back in Feb 2023 and had one of the most unforgettable experiences, something I will share here soon. It’s heartening to hear how the group ensured the Tiger was safe and monitored it closely.

I must admit I felt a little envy reading this, because after more than a dozen visits to tiger reserves across north and central India over 30 years, Kanha in 2023 was actually my ever first tiger sighting! The only other time was an incident back in 1989 in Corbett Park when we could hear a tiger prowling somewhere nearby, those deep rumbling growls rolling through the forest, but we never actually caught a glimpse of it.
