After reading about the idea of an arboreal mortuary, I looked into it some more and discovered that there are a lot of places in the United States that are starting to offer this kind of a burial option. This is in response to people not wanting to be in cemeteries, but instead in a natural setting.

Often the body is buried in either a shroud or a wicker or wooden casket so that everything breaks down. Markers are very small and part of the setting. And the remains help nourish and support the forest or the park.

I’m wondering if this is something that anyone in this group has considered for their final resting place?
