I started something new on the site — Mike's Bible Reading Journal.

I'm reading through the Bible this year using the Olive Tree Beginning to End plan. I'm behind, and I keep forgetting to sit down and read. But every time I actually do, something comes alive in the text. Every time.

So I'm writing up what I find — the scripture, the questions that come up, what I learn when I study it, and a prayer. It's a journal, not a devotional. It's largely unedited. And I'm sharing it because I may not be the only one who struggles to be consistent in God's Word.

As Jack Miller put it: evangelism is one hungry beggar eagerly eating the bread and being changed by it, and then telling other beggars where to find it.
